Supporting others as they work toward their financial goals has always felt deeply rewarding to me. I’ve always believed in treating others the way I want to be treated, and that simple value shapes the way I show up for every client and every part of their financial world.

I’m bilingual in Spanish and hold an Associate’s Degree in General Study from the College of DuPage. I graduated with honors from the Illinois Institute of Art – Schaumburg with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Media Production.

My career began in the service industry as a sales clerk, then expanded during an internship at Disney World where I learned what true guest satisfaction looks like. I entered the financial industry in 2006 and have spent many years helping clients navigate the complexities of investing and financial planning. I was previously a Certified Fund Specialist,

Math always came naturally to me. From sixth grade through high school, I was in advanced math classes and even graduated with college credits in Calculus. While many people find math dull, I found comfort in the fact that the numbers were clear. They were either right or wrong, and that structure made sense to me.

One of my earliest memories with finance was in sixth grade, when I learned about the stock market. I chose a stock and checked its price in the newspaper every day. Watching it rise and fall lit a spark that never really went out.

Even so, I chose to study digital media because I was drawn to creativity. After college, I took a job as a receptionist at a financial planning firm simply because I needed work. I didn’t know much about the industry at that point, but as I learned more, I became fascinated by the stories behind people’s financial lives. Reviewing 401(k) statements brought back the same excitement I felt when I was twelve, tracking that first stock.

With encouragement from the advisors I worked with, including Lisa, I pursued my Series 7 license. At first I wondered if my degree had been a mistake, but the firm offered to pay for the licensing, and I saw an opportunity. If I learned to invest wisely, maybe I could pay off my student loans before turning 40. And I did.

I know not everyone finds joy in numbers or market movements, but this is where I thrive. Financial planning feels like the work I was always meant to do. Today, I love helping clients manage their investments and build a sense of order in an area of life that often feels overwhelming. When their finances are cared for, they’re free to focus on what matters most to them — and that is the part of the work that brings me the most meaning.
